Christian Record Services was founded to offer free Christian reading materials to every blind or sight-impaired person in North America. The organization estimates that each year, 100,000 people receive the unique and valuable assistance of their services. This group also offers disability scholarships to persons who are legally blind. This means that their vision, with glasses or corrective lenses, is still 20/200. This means that what a person could normally see at 200 feet, these individuals can see at no more than 20 feet.

Additionally, to be eligible, students who are applying for this christian blind disability scholarship must intend to enroll in a college or university on a full-time basis. They must also be undergraduates who are seeking necessary training or education to help them live independent lives and support themselves.

While the organization desires to provide as many unique scholarships for students with disabilities as possible, their ability to help is dependent upon the moneys they receive.
